As the follow-up to his JUNO Award nominated EP, Resilience, Heal The Divide shows Toney's growth in sound, an ever-widening circle of collaborators, and a new confidence in his message.

While traditional fiddle songs remain a central focal point of the album, Toney adds a new instrument to his repertoire in the flute, and ventures into country territory. Throughout the recording, Toney pays tribute to family, community, ceremony, and most importantly, his love of the land of Unama’ki.
